I love cooking because my mother shared her intrigue, love and passion of cooking with me everyday. Her love for cooking was a result of my grandmother’s treasured time spent around the table, feeding anyone in need. And I’m told my great-grandmother, May, loved it too – so much so that she single-handedly managed a thriving catering business while raising my mother in the Caribbean island of Dominica years ago. I guess it’s no wonder that I’m following in the lineage of culinary passion and service toward others.

Thus, AE Catering & Events was born in March 2016. Marrying my passion for food with my calling to serve others, my goal is simple and heartfelt – to provide others with an opportunity to gather over a meal without the fuss and stress. I am a product of home chefs who authenticated meals with signature flavor (eclectically from Caribbean spices to Southern-American traditions and seasonings). This catering company is unique in that it has familiar menu options to choose from – but with unexpected flavorings that excite and awaken the palette from the standard fair.

Attention to details, great service and ‘down-home’ cooked flavors are always incorporated in my work. The AE team will do our absolute best to provide the finest ingredients and an exquisite presentation on any budget. I want you to envision your dream no matter how large or small. I want to capture the moment and occasion with personalized touches. There’s no short-changing on my end.

And as a Christian, I want to use this given talent to be a blessing to others.
